Welcome to Adger Solar

Adger Solar, an affiliate of Hudson Energy Development, is a clean-energy development company focused on select southeastern U.S. markets, recently formed by Hudson’s principals along with another renewable-energy veteran, Theo de Wolff. Based on their decades of experience developing several thousands of megawatts of greenfield wind projects, using innovative commercial and financing solutions, the Adger Solar team has already assembled a project portfolio of several hundred MW of utility-scale solar projects, with multiple interconnection filings, and advanced, highly competitive off-take proposals. The first two solar projects developed by Adger Solar in South Carolina are now in operation, including the largest solar energy facility in that state -- the 71.4 MWac Solvay Solar Energy – Jasper County. Adger has numerous other utility scale solar projects under development elsewhere in S.C.; these projects will create direct economic benefits for electric ratepayers, resulting from the very low total cost of energy from solar photovoltaic systems, along with substantial environmental benefits. read more +
